Thank you for choosing Atman Healing. These terms apply to all bookings, treatments, Animal Reiki sessions, Reiki courses, and events. By making a booking or purchase, you agree to the terms set out below. If you have any questions before you commit to anything, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
1. Bookings
1.1 How to Book
Bookings are made via the Atman Healing website or SumUp booking page. Your booking is confirmed once you have received a booking confirmation. Please check your spam or junk folder if you don't receive this — I'm not able to accept liability if a missed confirmation causes you to miss your appointment.
1.2 Consultation Forms
Certain treatments and Animal Reiki sessions require a consultation form to be completed prior to your appointment. These are sent electronically via HubSpot. I reserve the right to decline a treatment where a consultation has not been completed, or where I deem it appropriate to do so.
1.3 Complementary Therapy Disclaimer
All treatments offered by Atman Healing are complementary therapies. They are not a substitute for veterinary or medical care and should always be used alongside professional advice, never in place of it.
2. Payments
2.1 Deposit Bookings
Where a £20.00 deposit is required to secure your appointment, this amount is non-refundable and will be deducted from your total fee on the day of your session.
2.2 Full Payment at Booking
Some services — including human distance Reiki sessions and Animal Reiki distance sessions — are paid in full at the time of booking. Please refer to Section 3 for the specific cancellation terms that apply to these services.
2.3 Accepted Payment Methods
Payments are processed securely via SumUp. Outstanding balances are payable on the day of your appointment (or on the day of your home visit, where applicable).
3. Cancellations, Reschedules & Refunds
3.1 Deposit Bookings (In-Person & Home Visit Treatments)
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, I ask for at least 48 hours' notice prior to the scheduled start time. Within this window, you may reschedule your appointment once, with your £20.00 deposit carried forward to the new date.
Cancellations within 48 hours, or failure to attend without notice, will result in the deposit being forfeited. No refund will be issued.
3.2 Human Distance Reiki Sessions
Distance Reiki sessions for human clients are paid in full at the time of booking and are non-refundable. If you need to reschedule, please give at least 48 hours' notice and I will do my best to accommodate a new date. No cash refund will be issued under any circumstances.
3.3 Animal Reiki Distance Sessions
Animal Reiki distance sessions are paid in full at the time of booking. I understand that with animals, circumstances can change suddenly and unexpectedly. In the event that the session can no longer take place due to the animal passing away or a sudden change in their condition, a 50% refund may be issued at my discretion. Requests must be made promptly and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
All other cancellations or reschedules follow the same terms as Section 3.1 (48 hours' notice required; no refund issued).
3.4 Late Arrivals
If you arrive late to your appointment, please let me know as soon as possible. I will always do my best to accommodate you, however your treatment time may be reduced depending on the circumstances. Late arrivals are handled on a case-by-case basis.
3.5 Home Visit Appointments
For Animal Reiki home visits, a mileage charge (where applicable) plus any remaining balance is payable on the day of your session. Please refer to the service description for full mileage rate details. I will always confirm any travel cost with you before your appointment is booked.
3.6 Cancellations by Atman Healing
In the unlikely event that I need to cancel or rearrange your appointment, I will give you as much notice as possible. Any deposit paid will be carried forward to your rescheduled appointment in full, or refunded if rescheduling is not possible.
4. Reiki Courses
4.1 Course Bookings
All Reiki courses (1st Degree, 2nd Degree, and Master Teacher) require a non-refundable deposit to secure your place. Course dates, deposit amounts, and total fees are confirmed at the time of booking.
4.2 Cancellations & Transfers
If you need to withdraw from a course, please let me know as soon as possible. Deposits are non-refundable in all circumstances. Where cancellation occurs more than 14 days before the course start date, any remaining fees already paid (excluding the deposit) may be applied as a credit toward a future course date. No refund or credit will be issued for cancellations within 14 days of the course start date.
4.3 Course Materials
All course materials, manuals, and resources are provided for your personal use only. They remain the intellectual property of Atman Healing and may not be reproduced, shared, or resold without prior written permission.
5. Events
5.1 Bookings & Payment
Event bookings are confirmed upon receipt of full payment unless otherwise stated. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
5.2 Cancellations by the Client
Event fees are non-refundable once purchased. If you are unable to attend, your place may be transferred to another person — please let me know in advance so I can update the attendee details.
5.3 Cancellations by Atman Healing
In the unlikely event that an event is cancelled or postponed by Atman Healing, you will be notified as soon as possible. A full refund or transfer to a rescheduled date will be offered.
6. Treatment Packages
Where treatment packages are purchased as a bundle, the full package fee is non-refundable once purchased. Individual sessions within the package cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to another person.
7. General
7.1 Changes to These Terms
I reserve the right to update these terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your booking or purchase will apply.
7.2 Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
